Tame Impala are time travelers from London in the 1960s. They wrote some songs and came to present-day Australia to record an EP for a really great label, Hole In The Sky Records. Then they decided to stay and pretend they're a new band that can sound like a band from the 60s without being overtly nostalgic or corny. Joke's on us, but its cool that they built a time machine big enough to fit a whole bunch of huge amps.
